Wilhelm Hedenskog

Wilhelm is Founder and CEO of Petrichor Bio, a wet lab built for AI that runs experiments at scale and turns them into training data for frontier models.
Wilhelm grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden, and has coded since childhood. He was a YC Fellow and moved to San Francisco just months after finishing school.
He has said he dreamed of being a CEO from a young age and always wanted to work on AI in San Francisco. At 19, he leads the company alongside two classmates, Elias Reinfeldt and Jesper Johansson.
Petrichor Bio (legally Qokedas, Inc.) was accepted into Y Combinator's Fall 2026 batch with Grey Baker as primary partner. The three-person team is based in San Francisco.
Petrichor's thesis is that AI labs are becoming fabless, with models designing experiments and Petrichor acting as the foundry that runs them in parallel. The company is building toward a scale of biological experimentation no lab has yet attempted.
