Yang Seung Tae is the Co-Founder and CTO of Hurotics, a Seoul-based wearable robotics company pioneering AI-powered exosuits for rehabilitation and mobility assistance.

Yang holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Chung-Ang University and previously served as VP at Hurotix Co., Ltd., building deep expertise in wearable robot systems.

A researcher turned entrepreneur, Yang brings a rare blend of advanced mechanical engineering scholarship and hands-on industry leadership to the frontier of human-assistive robotics.

Yang co-founded Hurotics in 2022 alongside CEO Giuk Lee, helping grow the company to 47 employees and driving the technical development of the flagship H-Medi exosuit, now certified as a Class II medical device.

Hurotics has raised over $22.8M in cumulative funding including a $17M Series A led by Atinum Investment, with H-Medi deployed in leading hospitals and exported to the University of Illinois Chicago for stroke rehabilitation research.
