Mafer AI is a Barcelona-based AI startup developing MaferOS, an AI-native operating system for R&D teams in formulation-driven industries including specialty chemicals, food and beverages, cosmetics, fragrances, and nutraceuticals. The platform structures decades of fragmented laboratory data, formulations, and regulatory documentation into production-grade AI infrastructure, enabling companies to train proprietary models on their own historical data and dramatically accelerate product development cycles. Mafer AI is backed by Kfund, 4Founders Capital, Masia, and Lavanda Ventures, and has been selected by the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre for its AI Factory programme.
