Alen Polakof is Co-Founder and CTO at Flai, a Y Combinator-backed AI communications platform transforming how automotive dealerships engage customers across calls, SMS, and email.

Alen earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, before spending 4+ years building large-scale infrastructure at Uber, where he was one of the fastest engineers promoted to L5.

At Uber, Alen built the company's financial attribution system and a large-scale graph platform with millions of nodes, and was part of the small team responsible for restoring service during server outages.

Prior to Flai, Alen served as a Founding Engineer at HappyRobot (YC S23), a leading voice AI company for logistics that reached a $500 million valuation within two years.

Flai raised a $27M Series A led by Base10 Partners and now books over 50,000 dealership appointments per month, with its AI platform actively deployed across hundreds of U.S. dealerships.
