Juan Alzugaray is Co-Founder and COO of Flai, a Y Combinator-backed AI communications platform transforming how automotive dealerships engage with customers through voice, SMS, and email automation.

Juan earned a Master's in Computer Science from Dartmouth College and honed his analytical expertise as a data scientist at Netflix, where he applied data-driven thinking to solve complex operational challenges.

Juan co-founded Flai in 2025 alongside CEO Ari Polakof and CTO Alen Polakof, helping lead the team from a three-person startup to 35 employees while personally conducting door-to-door sales across hundreds of dealerships nationwide.

Under Juan's operational leadership, Flai has grown revenue 20x in a year, now books 50,000 dealership appointments per month, and has raised a $27M Series A led by Base10 Partners, with backing from Toyota Ventures, First Round Capital, and Y Combinator.
