Zach Yadegari

Zach Yadegari is the Founder and CEO of Persona, a Miami-based AI agent startup combining a personal AI assistant with a wearable wristband to help users manage everyday life hands-free.
A serial entrepreneur from Long Island, New York, Zach began building apps at age 10, sold gaming platform Totally Science for $100,000 at 16, and co-founded Cal AI at 17, scaling it to over $40 million in revenue before selling it to MyFitnessPal.
A Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, Zach was rejected by 15 top universities despite a 4.0 GPA and a 34 ACT score, and enrolled at the University of Miami while continuing to build companies.
After the MyFitnessPal acquisition of Cal AI closed in late 2025, Zach briefly stayed on before departing in June 2026 to launch Persona, which raised $10 million in seed funding led by Vine Ventures, with participation from Cory Levy, Collective Global, WHOOP, and Eight Sleep.
Persona has attracted thousands of iMessage beta users and generated five figures in wristband pre-orders, with hardware shipments planned for December 2026, as Zach aims to consolidate everyday apps into a single AI-powered super assistant.
