All3 raises $25M to automate construction with AI and robots

RTP Global leads seed round for UK startup merging AI-powered design with robotic fabrication. Team of 126 targets trillion-dollar construction productivity gap with timber focus.

All3 raises $25M to automate construction with AI and robots

A London-based robotics startup with roots in Russian e-commerce announced a $25 million seed round on April 29, 2026, to chase what its founders describe as construction's long-overdue automation moment. All3, which builds AI design tools and four-legged assembly robots for timber buildings, said that RTP Global led the financing, with SuperSeed, Begin Capital, s16vc and VNV Global joining the round.

The company employs 126 people and says it will deploy its first commercial fleet in Germany within the year, though details on project timelines remain fluid. All3's pitch centers on a full-stack approach: software that optimizes timber designs for robotic production, modular "Robofactory" cells that prefabricate components off-site, and Mantis, a heavy-duty legged robot capable of hauling over 100 kilograms and reaching four meters for placement, fastening, finishing, and inspection tasks in the field.

"Construction is the largest global sector yet to experience a productivity revolution," CEO Rodion Shishkov said in the announcement, framing the opportunity as a trillion-dollar prize. Whether that revolution arrives through robotics, software, or some combination remains an open question, but the industry's sclerotic pace gives plenty of room for optimism. Construction productivity inched up just 10% total between 2000 and 2022, a 0.4% annual crawl, while the total economy improved 50% and manufacturing surged 90%, according to McKinsey data published in 2024. Europe alone may face 4.2 million construction job openings through 2035, labor forecasts suggest, and building emissions have climbed even as climate pledges pile up.

Shishkov and co-founder Slava Bocharov carry unusual credibility for hardware entrepreneurs. The pair previously built Samokat, a Russian rapid-delivery startup that reportedly sold for $1.5 billion, according to Tech Funding News. Shishkov also spent four years as deputy CEO of Russian Post starting in 2013. They founded All3 in 2023, and by June 2025 had self-funded $30 million, the company has said—a cushion that likely smoothed early product development.

RTP Global partner Jelmer de Jong, who joined All3's board with the round, pointed to that engineering track record. "The team has the engineering depth, the technology platform, and the commercial traction to deliver it," he said. Mads Jensen, managing partner at SuperSeed, called All3 the first investment from his firm's Fund III and said Europe needs "its own physical AI champions," a nod to the continent's lag behind U.S. and Chinese robotics players.

All3 plans to use the capital to expand R&D teams in London and Belgrade and get robots onto active German construction sites. The startup has announced at least one project: a roughly 3,000-square-meter residential development in Berlin-Lichtenberg awarded by local developer BHN Karlshorst Living, with construction targeted for later this year and into 2026. The company's German arm lists managing director Wulf von Borzyskowski and counts Zech Hochbau board member Frank Thiesen among its advisors, signals of an effort to integrate into Germany's famously conservative construction establishment.

All3 claims its hybrid timber approach delivers 10% lower costs, 50% faster timelines and up to 25% less embodied carbon compared to conventional methods. The company has not cited third-party audits of those figures, a common gap in early-stage hardware claims. Its design platform processes a pipeline exceeding 100,000 square meters of residential projects, though how much of that will convert to built square footage is unclear.

The competitive landscape is crowded but fragmented. Netherlands-based Monumental, which builds bricklaying robots, raised a $32 million Series B from Khosla Ventures in mid-2024. U.S. rivals include Built Robotics, which automates earthmoving equipment and has raised approximately $112.5 million per Crunchbase, and Dusty Robotics, known for field-printing layout tools. All3 has also secured a strategic investment from WaVe-X, the corporate venture arm of Austria's WALTER GROUP, and won a grant from Innovate UK to develop coordinated multi-robot assembly systems.

"Coordinating multiple autonomous robots on a live construction site is one of the hardest problems in the field," Napo Montano, All3's head of mobile robotics, said when the grant was announced. Hard problems tend to attract capital and talent, at least until they attract skepticism. All3's bet is that construction's resistance to change is finally cracking—and that a team with logistics and robotics chops can slip through before the window closes.
